Planning
and Assessments
Planning is a
fundamental underpinning to enhanced security. Filler Security Strategies has worked with large and small States and Urban
Areas from across the United States on numerous planning projects, including conducting risk and capabilities assessments
and follow-on homeland security strategies based on the findings from the assessments. We also help our clients develop implementation
plans and program management systems and structures, such as organizing Urban Area Working Groups and related sub-committees,
that help facilitate success.
Grant
Funding
Filler Security Strategies has supported Urban
Areas, States, law enforcement, mass transit agencies and maritime ports in their efforts to develop homeland security and
other grant investment justifications and applications from across a multitude of federal grant programs. Our work in
this area has resulted in the highest or near highest level of funding for several clients nationally in several competitive
grant programs.

Crisis and Incident Management We provide executive level consulting on crisis and incident management, including understanding the National Incident
Management System and the National Response Plan. In a post September 11th and Hurricane Katrina environment no executive,
whether in government or the private sector, can risk being unprepared to lead in a crisis.
Intelligence
and Information Sharing
Good intelligence is the key to the prevention of terrorism and reducing overall
risk, whatever the hazard. We have been deeply involved in intelligence and information sharing within the federal government
and between the federal government and local, state and tribal governments and the private sector. As the Intelligence Fusion
Process, and Information Sharing Environment required under the Intelligence Reform Act continue to evolve, we help our clients
understand, implement and support the growth of these emerging and critical homeland security areas.
